Wilmington House
The Willmington house was an unique project for Shannon. The entire house was designed long distance over e-mails and phone calls. Even though it wasn't what many poeple would call a "normal" process, the end result was what the home owner was hoping for... a beautiful home. This home was deisgned for a couple of empty-nesters that still wanted to keep family in mind when their children and grandchildren come to visit.
The first floor master suite contains a large master bath and walk-in closet, but also a separate den/office for late night working or TV watching. The rest of the first floor is designed for entertaining with an open kitchen and dining area along with the great room and family room space. The family room flows out onto a beautiful screen porch and each of those spaces are filled with large windows overlooking a private golf course. The lower level contains two guest suites as well as a large family room with wet bar and a separate theater room for watching football or movies with the grandkids.
